Why some of them are facing forward and others - backwards?

Cloudy and humid

The lights was very strange and changing all the time - it was gloomy, magical and wet at the same time.

Sketchbook #63

Well, as soon as I published "last" sketches from book #63, I found a whole bunch more - special thanks goes to my special friends - my parents - who noticed that I described some sketches and even showed them in one photo but never shared here :)
So here you go - below are "leftovers" :)

April 2012: Looking back at sketchbook #63

My feeling is that this sketchbook was filled really quickly - I did not notice the passage of three weeks :) Lots of great things happened. Not all are scanned and published here - but enough to see that I should use more color :)

Here is a link to view it as a set:

Amazingly strong trees in the mountains. I want to spend entire day drawing and painting them - to feel that strength.

Sketching in the Snow

Sketching in the Snow was magical! An afternoon of weather changing: every 5 minutes it went from snow storm to calm sunshine and back.
It was really cold to sketch (20 F) but super fun to move snow with my pencil and brush pen. You can see below three sketches in chronological order :)
