May 2010: Fiji - Birds - Red Vented Bulbul
I hoped to prepare for this trip and know whom I am going to meet on the island - form bird to toad. But some unexpected developments kept me too busy to even read about island topology.
As a result I tried to sketch and note as much while in Fiji and identifying birds here. This is sketch done from the photo - it's the bird that visited us quite often - snatch bread crumbs from the table, say Hello from the brunch by the door or just peak onto the patio ;)

I am in a post-travel slump of sketching and posting so to get things going I decided to draw what I used during this trip and post - as a beginning :)
May 9, 2010 - Hidden Villa
great day at the farm. We had to take a new road - back home - it takes about the same time but no highway. Great snoring pigs today! A whole barn of them!
