Illustration Friday: holiday

Well, holidays are always holidays - no matter what part of the Universe you come from. It's an opportunity to do things you don't usually do. Like lay on a couch with a nice cup of tea and favorite book or something.

Have a a great holiday season everyone and a great year in 2006! Thanks for visiting!

Illustration Friday: Surprise

There are many things thatt surprise me - but one of the favorite surprises is always a quiet coming of a first snow :)
This is another try of black on black - I think I managed to get more details with a different approach to scanning etc. Click on the image to see a larger version.

Illustration Friday: Blue

Well, when you are blue - what can be better than a friendly light waiting for you and ability to give a gift? a dozen other things perhaps - but these might work too :)
This is another card from the series I created for this Holiday Season.

Illustration Friday: Small

This is one of the greeting cards I created for this winter holidays. Please visit my little online store where you can see more of the greeting cards and, parhaps, order some? You are going to buy some holiday cards anyway, so why not these ones?

Illustration Friday: Free

This watercolor was created a little while ago - I tried to create something completely new - but somehow out of all attempts to do an illustration this week this one had the most "free" feeling.

Illustration Friday: Night + Fixed Link

I tried to use many different blacks to show you the colors of night but I am afraid my scanner picked up only a few of them - in any case - it was a fun experiment with showing black on black on black :) Too bad little rabbit in the bottom left corner is almost lost :( Click on the image to see a larger version.

Oh - and thanks to a friend of mine - I found out that a link to my web-site (on the right) was broken - but now is fixed - please visit :)

Illustration Friday: Broken

Illustration Friday: Float

This is not a new work - it's just a work that I did earlier this year and it came up to my mind as soon as I saw this week's topic. I tried to do something new but it all seems to be less interesting to share.
I enjoy "working with elephants: - here is a link to continuation of this floating-sleeping one :)

"Empty" for Illustration Friday

Sunday evening. Since Friday I did a lot of versions and realized that no matter how many ways to convey the "emptyness" I found - none of them really spoke what I wanted. And at the end this little drawing did it... this is a sketch about people leaving us.
