March 2012: Sketching in the Snow
Overview of Sketchbook #62
This book is full of experiments, not so good paper, ink and more experiments. Lots of pages were not worth scanning - but here is the rest.
March 2012: Early Morning
It's dark in the morning again. And cold. No color in the flowers - just dry grayness - for another 30 minutes or so :)
Rocking Treasures
Did you notice the new look?
I wanted to do a winter update but we did not have one this year - and now it's March and despite some rain storms, which make up for some of the lost weather, this is definitely SPRING! :)
March 18, 2012
I've been looking for a four leaf clover all day yesterday but did not find one. So I made one out of paper for you. It doesn't look like a REAL one - so I drew a monster face on it - this is a four leaf monster for you :)
Trip to Cal Academy of Sciences
Wonderful, sunny day in San Francisco with amazing creatures we met in the aquarium section of the Cal Academy!
Ballpoint pen is winning race in this sketchbook again :)
Overall I have to admit that sketching on a work day in Cal Academy is much simpler as not that many people stick their fingers in my paints or grab my pencils or push me away from my subject :)

March 2012: Another Lunch
What can I say - making very very hot sandwich is a great solution to my draw-before-you-eat problem - I had a good reason for a few minute sketch :)
Oh - and I nibbled on some tomatoes and bell peppers while drawing :)
