Suhita (Suhita Shirodkar) and I went to the magical garden and forest to visit Gay (Gay Kraeger) and we hiked, laughed, sketched, and talked and it was so wonderfully normal. I am glad to have this again in my life.

Beets are a great addition to a salad when they are raw but they are amazingly versatile when cooked! These savory and dessert salads are in constant rotation in our household!
