March 2015: Canyon Trip - Bryce
Bryce Canyon met us with beautiful snow! Pretty cold and extremely bright drawing time!
Canyon Trip: Zion National Park
On this trip I picked a small number of art materials to put in my waist bag every day and had them as well as square handbook journal ready all the time. Zion National park was amazing and I with I could return there to draw - but I am going to say the same thing about all the canyons on this trip!
In preparation for the trip I added some colorful papers to my sketchbook using technique I saw in Kate's post (dreaded facebook times - I cannot find it now! but will continue looking :) (Update - here is the post: http://artistsjournalworkshop.blogspot.com/2013/06/tip-o-page-to-you.html)
I used white china marker, felt tipped brush pen, some multi-color pencils, watercolors and ink.

Back From The Canyon Trip
I am back from a wonderful trip and have some sketches to sort, clean and share!
