"Empty" for Illustration Friday

Sunday evening. Since Friday I did a lot of versions and realized that no matter how many ways to convey the "emptyness" I found - none of them really spoke what I wanted. And at the end this little drawing did it... this is a sketch about people leaving us.
Comments and questions are welcome.
thanks,
Nina

  9. Hey, that's pretty cool in its simplicity. The face especially is very logo/icon-esque. You oughta consider taking this a bit further, thickening select lines slightly and vectorizing it - it'd make a good design for something. Maybe a shirt?
