I tried to use many different blacks to show you the colors of night but I am afraid my scanner picked up only a few of them - in any case - it was a fun experiment with showing black on black on black :) Too bad little rabbit in the bottom left corner is almost lost :( Click on the image to see a larger version.
Oh - and thanks to a friend of mine - I found out that a link to
my web-site (on the right) was broken - but now is fixed - please visit :)
Spooky. Very nice.
ReplyDeletei see the rabbits eyes.. the owl is great, as is all of your drawing...
ReplyDeleteas are all of your drawings... :)
Very good. It reminds me that while most of us get to sleep at night, others are just starting their day.
ReplyDeleteI like this, I hope the owl can't see the rabbit very well either! I see him well enough to know he's really frightned!
ReplyDeleteBlack on black, interesting.
Wonderful experiment using black on black! I really like your image :)
ReplyDeleteNice mood here. Love the owl. Very subtle. Well done!
ReplyDeleteEven without all the different blacks, this is really effective. I actually saw the rabbit right away... the owl looks very fast the way he's swooping down. great concept and wonderful work.
ReplyDeletethis is very nice. it's frustrating when a scanned or photographed image doesn't do justice to what you yourself see, but i think this is quite lovely regardless.
ReplyDeleteLove the look.
