I like to build my sketchbook spreads as collections of different moments but many of these spreads are collections of collections. Because of number of other things I had to take care of I sketched in very tiny bursts and often on other paper and later taped/glued things to the spread. Sometimes adding text or splash of color a few days after I actually sketched the main topic.
I used gouache quite a bit on this trip and the tiniest of my portable watercolor kits too.
