This week's subject created a swirl of sketches - I am posting here one that I like (of a chair) and one of the idea of a chair. Originally I hoped to make them work together but I think they work better alone.

Each one is beautiful in its own way. I love the richness of the second, red painting. I love the lighter texture and colors of the first, and the way you've fit the chairs in with trees. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI like them both but absolutely love the first one
ReplyDeleteBoth are good. In the first one I see an autumn forest and I get this feeling of respecting the trees from it. The chairs seem to be the babies of the trees.
ReplyDeleteI'll join in - I like both! It's neat that they are so different...the top one light and airy with the thin-lined sketches and the watercolor, the bottom one rich and solid looking. Very nice:>
ReplyDeleteI like the images of the chairs pasted over the images of trees. What a strong message.
ReplyDeletethanks people! I am trully glad that I placed both of the images and that you react to them so differently!
ReplyDeleteThat´s a fantastic idea up there, Makes me think about what tree my chair has once been. Beautiful color work!
ReplyDeletebeautifully done!
ReplyDeleteThey both have a wonderful richness and warmth.
